This course, organised by the UEMS Division of General Surgery in partnership with the European Society of Surgery and the Hellenic Surgical Society, is run over two days and aimed at surgical trainees in their final year of training or surgeons who have completed their speciality training and who plan to sit their UEMS EBSQ exit examination in General Surgery within the coming 12 months. Surgical Trainees who wish to advance their knowledge regarding pan-European surgical practice and who don't necessarily plan to take the UEMS Exam in General Surgery at this stage may also find it helpful. The UEMS EBSQ General Surgery Examination is a test of knowledge and its clinical application. The key is knowledge transfer in a structured way. At the end of the course participants will have an improved knowledge base and will acquire techniques to improve their exam performance by being able to demonstrating their knowledge and understanding. It will allow them to identify areas of weakness, allowing for sufficient time to tackle these areas till the time of the examination.
